Trouble staying connected to AIM

Just started up a little while ago (maybe half an hour). Anyone else have this? Is this an AOL thing or an Adium thing?

I'm having troubles, though only as of tonight - other AIM-client-users say nothing seems amiss.

I've seen lots of people on all sorts of clients (i.e. not just Adium) signing on and off quite a bit. I think AOL is doing server maintenance or some such thing, and it seems to have settled down by now.

I've had this problem as well. I can't stay connected overnight, East coast time. I'm on when I go to sleep and then when I wake up in the morning I have a message when wake up saying there was a GAIM error. Been that way since Sunday night.

Same exact thing is happening to me! Same time zone and everything! Except I'm using Adium and I don't get an error, I just get a blank contact or buddy list or whatever they call it. I'm only on my 3rd day of using Adium, and it's happened every night so far. Yet it'll stay connected for the 10+ hours that I'm at work during the day....

I'm having the same problem as well..a couple days ago, it seemed like everyone was having problems staying connected, but now each morning I come back to the computer and my contact list is gone, but I am still connected. I've had this problem happen in the past, but not nearly as often as in the past week. I don't know if its because of the recent upgrade, or its just AIM?

I posted about this in another thread, and Evan said it was a known AIM bug that is being discussed.
