For some time now I cannot get Adium to get AIM buddy pictures from my contacts. I don't know what happened. I accedentially deleted the Adium cache folder while toying with AppZapper.. should that have any effect on my AIM buddy pictures ? I really didn't find any answers in the search I did here.
I tried telling Adium not to use Addressbook images as contact's pictures and all sorts of things. And it's not only AIM but also .Mac. What can be done ? What can I do to get this functionality back ?
I noticed that there is really only an issue if I login and one of my AIM buddies is online- then I don't see their image.But if i'm logged in and a buddy comes online then I see their buddypic. Weird stuff, and it's bugging the hell out of me.
It's not really .mac accounts I found out but more AIM ones,, sad affairs. Ich will meine buddypics haben , gut ja ? gut.
Dunno if its related but when using iChat and Adium I notice Adium is showing an out of date buddy icon. How can I refresh it to show their current icon? I know its my Adium thats lagging because when I install Adium fresh at school or something it shows their new icon. Weird
