Is it just me or that the "PresetStatusWindow.nib" is missing the keyedobjects.nib, info.nib and classes.nib files?
For me it appears just as an empty package... :|

Like, it's a blank menu? Could you screen shot it please? Thanks :)

nanovivid: I tried that but I did not see "Display Growl Notification" as in option. Yes my source is old, from around Christmas IIRC.

It took me a while to figure this one out. You have to hit the + in the bottom left, choose the action you want notification for, and then choose "Display Growl Notification" from the Action list.

Now the Display Growl Notifications menu should say "Custom" and your Growl notifs should work.
The Growl presets don't work? Do they add items to the events list? Furthermore, the +/- paradigm is common in OS X... what about it didn't feel intuitive?

I can't get this thing to work and I really don't know if I'm doing something wrong or am I missing something... I have the latest SVNs from both Adium and Growl and I can set Growl notifications inside Adium but nothing happens and I can't see Adium listed at the Growl PrefPane.

Away from that everything is working as I expected an both and somethings are working even better… File transfer for example.

Thnx.

Do you have some old Growl plugin installed in your ~/library/application support/adium 2.0/plugins folder perhaps? There should not be a Growl.adiumPlugin anywhere on your machine.

I'm having the same thing but i do see adium in the growl prefPane. And i don't have anything inside my plugins folder that is somehow related to growl but still nothing happens
Also if i switch back to 0.7x growl works fine...

Same here, before I built, I went through, and made sure I had no growl.Adiumplugins on my system, deleted my .7x version, and still nothing...

What version of Growl? Are you sure Growl indicates that it is running in the Growl preference pane in System Preferences?

I have Growl .5 on my system. Growl is running, Adium is enabled in the Growl Preferencepane in System Preferences.

Do I need the Growl SVN for it to work in the Adium SVN?

same thing here. and again the problem is only with 0.8 because 0.7 and growl are working perfect together

Adium .8svn hasn't been tested with Growl .5... it's supposed to be prompting you to upgrade. I'm out for the weekend.. when I get back, I'll install .5 and play around.
