Show Growl Notifications?

Post by flernk »

This may be a simple fix that I'm simply missing, but let's see.

I've got Growl and Adium installed just fine, but Growl is acting funny.

Within Adium, I have a few specific contacts who have an "Alert" set to "Show Growl Notification" when they connect. If the "Contact Signed On" is unchecked in the System Preferences pane for Growl, I don't see these notifications. However, if it IS checked, I get a "connect" notification for ALL of my contacts.

How do I enable the growl notifications for specific contacts and not others?

Basically, Growl notifications in 0.7x are not nearly as good as they should be. I'm not sure if there -is- a way to make this happen.

The entire events system has been rewritten for 0.80, and it includes built-in, far superior Growl support.
The duck still burns.
