Hotmail Notifications in Adium

Ive been playing around with the growl and audio notifications in Adium but cannot seem to get them working to notify me when I receive a new hotmail message, the notifications work fine for other things in the events list.

Under Events, I have added play a sound and display a growl notfication for the new email event but nothing happens.

Is it even possible to be notified when a new hotmail message is received?

Is check for mail selected in the account options ?
