SNAC error: Not supported by host

Post by TripleF »

Hi!

Every time I log into my .Mac account, I get a dialog with the message "SNAC threw error: Not supported by host". The message seems to come from libgaim and I have found the following (rather old) CVS commit message from libgaim on this topic:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/mess ... id=4616989

Any idea how to solve this?

Thanks!

Did you type your .Mac screenname with any capitalization or spaces?

Yes, that was it. I was using some capitalization - after making everything lowercase, the error didn't occur again.

Thanks a lot!

That'll be fixed for the next version.
