Modify %_itms script?

Post by spxyu02 »

I would like to modify the %_itms script so that it sends you to iTunes, but doesn't include composer in the search, rather just the artist and track title.

Is there a way to edit the script that comes with Adium instead of making my own script?

No, the iTMS script is built into the code now IIRC instead of an editable resource. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Is the original topic poster using .89.1 or the beta?

I'm using .89.1.

How do I edit Adium.app/Resources/CurrentTunes.scpt? Do I need to install developer tools?

Thanks!

If you double-click it the file should automatically open in Apple's Script Editor, which is installed by default IIRC in /Applications/AppleScript/

That said, in 1.0 this has all changed.

Got it. Forgot that you could open .apps. Found the script and made a few modifications, works like a charm now.

Thanks!
