Leading and Trailing Spaces

Post by ftldelay »

I just noticed that Cyberduck lets users upload files to FTP sites that have leading and/or trailing spaces in the filenames - for example, " leadingspace.txt" and "spaceafterext.txt ". The problem is that the FTP sites are mainly accessed using Internet Explorer or Filezilla, which can't rename or delete files with these types of naming conventions. They end up having to be deleted directly from the FTP server, which I think is running some type of Unix-style OS. Can Cyberduck be set to disallow uploading of inappropriately named files such as these? Thanks.
