[Suggestion] Connection alert box

Post by Grom »

Hello,

I don't really know if someone asked for this, but is it possible to make the connection alert box (do you see what I mean ?) bigger and mayber somewhere else ? Something more visible and comprehensible ?

Because I got sick of the tiny little box around the application icon and came back to MSN Mac, which I hate :/

Thanks for your response,
Grom :)

Maybe he means the bezels you can turn on to alert you when somebody logs in and out?

next major version (Adium v.80) is ditching the current alert bezels, for growl (at http://growl.info). Growl is much more flexible and has several styles of alerts, but I don't believe you can (currently) make the bezel any larger than the one used in Adium v.7X

The bezel in Adium v.7X has two sizes. If you are already using the larger size, sorry. As for moving it, if you go into "advanced" and turn off subtle mode, you can move where the bezel appears by just dragging it (and then turn subtle back on if you want).

I heard about Growl. That will be great :)

Axcess, you mean that the bezel is the box I speak about ? If it is the case, I may used a theme that make it very small and unreadable :/

Themes shouldn't affect the bezel. Can you take a screenshot and show us how yours looks?
