Here's a quick thing I'm surpised isn't on the site... Why isn't there a tab on the top of the AdiumX.com, AdiumXtras.com, and etc not have a link right to the these forums? I have the Xtras site bookmarked, so if I want to go to these forums I have to click on the "Download" tab, and then click forums.
I just figured that if there was a tab for "SoC", why not to these forums?

Re: Forums Tab?
I personally use most of the CocoaForge forums, so I keep a bookmark for them.IUG wrote:Here's a quick thing I'm surpised isn't on the site... But then, if we have a Forums link, why not an IRC link, etc.?

The forums don't match the layout of the rest of the site; switching between tabs is supposed to be seamless.
Off-topic: I see an emuscene banner in your sig -- you're forum manager, right? I'm looking to set up my Mac Mini as an emulator box -- I've got USB controllers (actually, USB to PS2 adapters) but can't figure out a good way to make the whole thing easy to use, preferably with only the Apple Remote in hand. Any thoughts?

Have you tried a program like USB Overdrive to remap some of the buttons? Then you could map some of the buttons for Finder features, programs, etc.

Ah, I bought USB Overdrive years ago and had forgotten about it -- it doesn't work on my bluetooth mouse so isn't installed. I'll have to dig up the serial and give that a shot.
Thanks for the emulaunch link. Looks like it's pretty involved to set it up; in a couple weeks when I have time I"ll probably end up contacting its author to see if I can contribute some code.

Thanks for the invite, and I will once I have the time to sit down and get started on doing this rightIUG wrote:Well of course your USB Overdrive wouldn't work with Bluetooth mouse.Of course if you need more help with stuff like this, you could always join my forum. This offer isn't just for you too, anyone who reads this can (and should) join. Okay, I'll stop the shameless plug machine now.

I thought about this, too...IUG wrote:Here's a quick thing I'm surpised isn't on the site... I think we don't need a Tab which "puts the forum in the site"... but just a tab as a link to the boards would be cool...
The problem is - when you're on one of the other pages (like the Xtras one) you can't switch easily to the boards

Re: Forums Tab?
Tabs can't behave in both ways though. And once they got to the forums, the tabs would dissapear.xSpikex wrote:I thought about this, too...IUG wrote:Here's a quick thing I'm surpised isn't on the site... Re: Forums Tab?
Hmmm. That doesn't matter. Just a link you can see on the other Adiumpages would be good... I don't know but the current one of the mainpage is a bit small...The_Tick wrote: And once they got to the forums, the tabs would dissapear.
