Close tab button..

Post by David Munch »

I was asked on a forum how you close tabs in the message-window. The user simply did not understand that you just click the green/red icon, or even try to hold the mouse-arrow on top of it.

What I am suggesting is that the green/red icon sometimes (every 30/60 secs maybe) slowly fade into the cross, and then slowly fades back.

I think this creates an even more negative experience because the animation would seem to imply you need to wait for it to cycle, not mouse over to activate.
Try my software!

I agree. I think the current implementation is fine. It's one of those things that takes a minute to learn, and from then on it is never a problem.

Is Closing Inactive Tabs on by default?

If not, maybe it should; that’s how other apps work.

We had a lot of problems before with it on, with it off this is the first I've seen of it.
