msn error: authentication failed

I use Adium (0.89.1) with my MSN account on Mac OS X (10.4.7). At seemingly random intervals I get the following error while logged in ... "msn error: authentication failed". The only option is an "ok" button. This error does not seem to log me out or do anything besides be annoying.

I have not set Adium to remember my email and password for MSN.
Any ideas?

I had this for a while though it happened pretty rarely. I ended up just ignoring it really. I haven't had it recently but I'm not if that coincides when i moved over to the beta. Maybe you should try the beta (http://beta.adiumx.com) and see if your pain persists.

Just note that if you use AIM it would probably be best to steer clear of the beta for a while.

I'm using the lates beta and I'm experienceing the same strange error message. But I'm just ignoring it since it makes little damage at all.

I've been having the same issue. I just updated to the latest version today, and received the error again. Now I know i'm not alone. (1.0b9)

Hmm it happens to me too... pretty annoying but doesn't mean anyrhing... (i hope)

I'm using latest beta (b12) and I still get a lot of it.. around 1 a day, sometimes up to 3 a day. It's annoying when it steals window focus while you're typing.
