Problems with Sticky

Post by moksha »

From what I understand, sticky notifications require you to click them before they go away. However, this isn't the case at all on my computer, when I had GrowlTunes set to deliver sticky notifications, they popped up and disappeared 3 seconds later, just like regular. Am I mistaken about what stickies are supposed to do, or is this a bug? The two items in the GrowlTunes preference pane are definitely checked off, not set on off or the bar.

Sticky should make the notification stay until clicked. What notification type are you using? Music Video and Bezel don't support sticky.

Also, in SVN, it seems hovering over the notifications closes them…

That's because it's svn.

Ah, I didn't realize that Music Video didn't support stickiness. Is this something that's going to get added? I can see why it wouldn't be as wanted as stickiness for others, since you can't really ignore it across the bottom of the screen, but it'd be a nice thing to have for when you go idle.

music video is a little bit big for being sticky so it just doesn't fit well.. all in all it doesn't hurt anybody..

That is not the reason it does not have sticky.

All queue based displays will not have sticky.
