New MSN for Mac

a new msn messenger is coming to mac ... it will have display pictures , and some more features , but acctually Microsoft is looking to put Webcam (Yeah!) on this version , for more info check this site (is the lastest news link)

What i've heard, is that there won't be webcam support for mac.
And the one that aMSN/Gaim is developing won't work either on mac.
Reason is that the codec they are using is to old for some reason.
And it was made of Logitech.

But we never know.. They might release a new codec for their webcam.
And that would mean a new version for mac.

Mercury Messenger have webcam for Mac (only receiving) in the MSN Protocol ,so the codec thing might be a lie of microsoft

IIRC aMSN does not use libgaim, thus the 2 aren't related, unless by bridging the fact they both will have incompatible solutions (possibly).
