Profile Background Color

Post by angasreid »

I've looked all over for info regarding how to set your profile a background color. I tried messing with the tools forever and can't figure it out. Is there any way to set a background color to a profile?
Thanks

Works fine for me, same as changing it anywhere else in Adium.

Format->Show Fonts. Click the background color (document color) icon, which is to the left of the T. Change the color in the results color picker.

Live and learn :) It's the OS X standard way of setting a background color... but, that said, it's kinda hidden.

Do you have to use a specific font type or possibly a specific message type?

This is what I'm doing:
Rt clicking in my profile
Font : Show Fonts
-Then I'm selecting a document color.
-Then I hit the X button, but nothing every changes.

I've even tried to hit edit selct all and do document color. It just doesn't have any effect.

Any ideas?

What verison of Adium are you using? I have no idea offhand if this works before 1.0 beta. Apologies, I keep forgetting that the released version isn't 1.0 :)

It's 1.0 only, which is a bit sad because this code is over half a year old.

That's not helpful at all. If you know of the problem and can provide a solution, do so.
Try my software!

#define ADIUMX pimp //by me
#define QUESTION ((2b) || (!2b))

It already works in 1.0, via a commit I did last sometime last winter. I was just commenting how long it's taking the code to appear in a release version.
