As the devs say: It will be released when it is ready. They are currently in the beta stage though.

offline statuses works fine in new beta12 but adium quits unexpectly very often.
the strange thing is that it happens only when i want to talk with one of my friends through gadu-gadu.
all other contacts work great (gadu-gadu and jabber)

1) Sets your offline status
and
2) Signs you offline

I'm asking how you and others use it.
They say a picture is worth a million words.

In the original client, you choose your status on the bottom of the client. You have 5 options: Dostepny (Online), Zaraz Wracam (BRB), Niewidoczny (Invisible), Niedostepny(Not available/offline), the last choice is the custom msg (the icon there reflects your current status). This will bring up the custom msg window. With the first three you are technically online(Online, BRB, Invisible). You can view other people statuses. The last option will log you out with the status msg you input in the line.

Once again, as some have mentioned you might power you laptop off but you like to tell your friends "Meet me at the pub @ 8pm" or "I am on vacation in Mexico. Back on 9/23. It is quite useful.

As far as how the msg get presented in the client, you would see the person as offline. However, you wouldn't know if the person if truely offline or invisible. For example, the 6 person in my list looks like they are either offline or invisible.

I believe this was already fixed as Evan stated in the prior post. Should have read all the posts :), but thought I contribute by including a picture from the original client so that you can see how this looks in the original client.
