Color nick for adium??

well, i was wondering if there is any equivalent for adium od the msg plus! color nick plugin

I mean, is annoying to see al me wndoze friends with thos numbers and symbols in their nicks, instead of seeing the color

is there anyway to make color nick in adium??

The closest thing is %senderColor%, which picks a random color for your contacts from a list of colors. It only works in message styles and it has to be coded into them.

So you can edit a style to have that, which I've done. It's pretty easy.

Nothing for the contact list like that.

and if I had to guess, Colornick is something that the devs would consider to be past the line of 'too many preferences'.

Making it a valid candidate for a new plugin for those who may want it. If the necessary hooks aren't present, then that could be addressed within Adium itself.
