Window display order problem when switching to Adium

Post by rinto »

I notice that Adium does not keep track of which of its windows has focus when switching from another app. In particular, the "Contacts" window keeps pushing itself to the top, obscuring any active chat windows. This is a real pain if I move back and forth between Adium and other apps while chatting, which is my normal method.

Is this a known issue? A bug? It doesn't seem like proper or standard behavior.

Thanks!

Which method are you using to switch between apps? Adium remembers which Adium window I had in front when using both Command-Tab and clicking the dock icon, and using expose is pretty straight forward, I click on the Adium window that I want in front...

Mostly using a QuickKeys shortcut and Dock clicks. I don't know enough about QK to say how it switches among apps.

Apologies. I'm sure you see I'm not getting far with my problem, and wanted to see if anyone else might be able to help.
