Post by idobi »

It would be nice to have different away messages for each screen names you're signed on as.

I did do a search for "away" and i did not find another post requesting this feature.

The closest result was different away messages for different services - not quite the same thing...

When someone says it's "already done" it means that it will exist in a future version -- so you'll have to wait for that version (which will be Adium 0.8) to be released.

ok, thanks :)

just a thought, is there a way to make different buddy lists windows for separate accounts? it's not needed, but it'd be nice

seperate buddy lists for different accounts? yuck... more desktop clutter. just use your groups to organize.

to an extent perhaps. it was more like a suggestion for an option, but not in any way a priority or something that actually bugged me :)

but if a friend wanted to get online while on my computer, all their contacts would mix with mine and then it could cause confusion :). obviously, it's not going to happen often. i only bring it up because my bf has gaim and he can make it do that.

if your bf signed on at the same time that you did his groups would seperate his contacts from your groups.

oh and some of the contact list style can seperate group to a certain extent making it look like seperate windows.
