Newbie Question- Blink Tabs for Unread Msgs

Is there any way to set a tab to blink if there is a new message? I have plenty of little conversation tabs displaying the user nickname but I can't tell who has responded unless I move to that window or navigate away from adium (then the adium icon shows that I have a message)

Version is 1.0b14.

Thanks so much. Adium is great and I'd use it more if I could figure out who left a new msg without actively scrolling through the tabs.

You can't make the tab flash sorry. You can do one of the folowing though:
1) The image next to the contact's name in the tab should change when you get a message.
2) You can set Your contact list to flash the name of the contact who has messaged you. You can do this in the contact list options.

Blinking tabs? What status icons are you using? Most status icon packs include an "unread messages" icon that will appear on the tabs along the bottom instead of their "online" or "away" icon if they have messages you haven't read.

You can also set it up so that their name on the contact list will blink a different color (or background color) when there are unread messages.

I don't think the tabs can actually blink, though.

LuxuryChair - I'm using the Gems Status icons and they show a little green circle, displaying that they're connected, but no new msg. Can you recommend a different Status Icon set?

m2e - If anyone else is looking for how to change this, I found the item you're talking about under Adium Preferences > Appearance > Contact List on botton half of window > Color Theme > Customize > Events Tab. There's a few options in there to play with.

I usually use "Idle Clock Bubbles" but thats mostly because I like the little bubble look rather than the color coding most of the time.

Currently I'm using "RulerAGV2m" but I can't seem to find it on the xtras site, come to think of it, I remember some topic about that at some point here... but if you like the gems, check out these. They seem to go orange when someone is typing.
