It sure is!

Select the contact you want to set up the actions for, Contact --> Get Info and switch to the Events tab. Scroll down to the Contact signs on event, add a new action to it and set it to Run an AppleScript. Rinse and repeat for Contact signs off, or any other events you might want.

Similarly, you can use the same process on one of your Groups to apply the changes to every contact in that group.
