Copying over a buddy list from one AIM account to another

To be specific, I have been using my .Mac email for AIM, and I have a very large buddy lists with an Alias stored for each person. I have started using an email alias as my primary email, and as such want to stop using an outdated email address for AIM. I have the new AIM name I want to use all ready to go.

I want to know if there is a way to copy over my entire list + aliases, both in the Adium local copy and server-side. Is this currently able to be done in Adium, and if not, anyone have any way to do it?

Adium can't do this at the moment sorry, but the official client should, i think. Look for an option Such as "Export buddy list" and then import it into the new account. I don't know if it keeps aliases though. Adium should have these buddies available when you next log in.

Bummer. Thanks a lot.

I know I can use the official client for this, but I have had trouble in the past, esp. getting Aliases to move.
