Hi!
I do have to problem that growl notifications cause display problems with various applications such as EyeTV or VLC in fullscreen mode.
So I'd like to see a feature which looks like this:
"Disable notifications a long as one of following applications are running: (list of applications which can be chosen by the user)"
Thank you!
Feature request: disable if one of these apps are running

I don't know that this level of fine-grain control will be added but Growl 1.1 will include an option to hide/suppress all Growl notifications, which will functionally address this request.
Try my software!

No general hiding please
"Stop Growl" is not exactly what I ment. I already use the "Stop Growl" or "Hide Notification". What I want is _only_ disable _automatically_ Growl notification _if_ one of a certain group of applications is running. I dont want to activate it by hand everytime I start application x, y, or z.
